Мед из арбуза

Предлагаю вам попробовать арбузный мед, пока сезон. Готовится он из очищенного арбузного сока, который нужно сильно уварить. Процесс длительный, но совершенно несложный.

Описание приготовления:

Ниже я расскажу подробнее, как приготовить мед из арбуза. Из указанного количества получилась баночка меда объемом 250 мл. Арбуз выбирайте спелый, красный и сладкий. В нем содержится больше сахара, а значит и меда получится больше.

Подготовьте арбуз.

Арбуз помойте, удалите шкурку, нарежьте крупными кусочками.

Измельчите арбуз в блендере до однородности.

Процедите получившуюся массу от косточек и мякоти. Затем отожмите через марлю. Для рецепта потребуется только арбузный сок без мякоти.

Перелейте арбузный сок в большую кастрюлю. Поставьте на средний огонь и уваривайте жидкость. Она должна уменьшиться в объеме в 5-6 раз.

Первые пару часов можно просто иногда помешивать жидкость. Когда арбузный сок загустеет и изменит цвет, то удобнее перелить массу в кастрюлю меньшего объема.

Готовность меда проверяйте по капле на тарелке. Сироп не должен растекаться. На процесс приготовления у меня ушло 7 часов.

Готовый арбузный мед перелейте в чистую стерилизованную баночку.
